Hillary Parker is a renowned artist who studied at Florida International University. If you’re lucky you have one of her paintings in your home. If you’re in the right place at the right time you can be in one of her workshops.
A naturalist and international award winning botanical watercolor artist with paintings exhibited and sold worldwide, Hilary has enjoyed a dual career of teaching and painting for over 20 years and works full time to keep up with the demands of private and public commissions, international juried exhibitions, lectures, workshops, private art instruction, and solo & group shows with galleries that represent her.
I first heard of her when it was announced that she’d be running a workshop teaching people how to paint the edible tropical fruits grown at Fairchild and throughout South Florida. That was in July this year. She is based in Georgia, and her website hows that in 2015 her workshops will be in many places around the United States. You can find out about her work and her upcoming workshops at her website.
